Time's a gettin' real short

The Small-bore Rifle Silhouette matches at the Chattanooga Rifle Club this weekend (Saturday) will be the last ones before the Tennessee State Small-bore Rifle Silhouette Championships to be fired on Saturday, 21 August under balmy skies and featuring a cast of thousands.

The match is filling up and interestingly and sadly, I have NO Junior Shooters signed up at this time. Plenty of Old Guys & Gals but no Kids. Notice I didn’t say “Old Gals”.

Besides the great camaraderie, shootin’, target setters, eatin’, story tellin’ and awards, I got something special. While at the NRA meetings in Charlotte last May, Sightron donated a Sll BIG SKY, 6-24x42 Silhouette scope which will go home with one of the competitors at the match. Everyone has a chance. Limited to 48 shooters so beat the crowd and sign up now.

Perfect shootin’ weather despite predictions of 80% chance of rain.
