I shot this bear ( my 1st ) on my 58th birthday. I was using a Remington CDL LTD in .260 Rem. with a Sierra 140 gr. GameKing. I wackked him behind the shoulder and he ran about 40 yds. He weighed 284 lbs. and is about 6 ft. nose to tail.
