Thanks Evelio! I agree on the bolt, but noticed their rimfire bolt is plain. Weight is an issue though.

I have two Remington 40x smallbore hunter rifles and both make the
8-1/2 lb limit with a little to spare. I doubt that it would be a problem with the Stiller action. With a Pharr stock all it will take is choosing the right parts to make weight. If he does a repeater then I will be interested. I have three 40x single shoots, no need for another.

This one has a Lilja 25" #5 barrel, Brown Pre stock, Jewell 2 stage trigger, and Weaver T24.

My Maple stocked 40x has a Lilja tite bore 23" long fluted #5 barrel, Jewell trigger, and will make weight with a 18 x 40 Leupold. It has a 6.5x20 EFR on it right now and is well under the limit.

Thanks Paul!
I talked to Curtis at Stiller yesterday and got on the list for a single shot action, and they do plan to make a repeater. Expected delivery is this fall, which may translate into Thanksgiving... Time has given me some patience.
Now comes the hard part of deciding what to sell to make room.

Actually the new Stiller 40-X repeater should be lighter than the single shot, a lot of metal has to be removed from the bottom of the action. The magazine and guide should be lighter than the amount of steel removed.
Evelio.
PS I am ordering one of the new Predator V action " full bling "

I expect this one to have, at most, a 20" barrel because of the weight, and the Tally bases will need some modification of the mounting holes.

I was hoping to do a single shot but the weight has me concerned, maybe you'll have to flute the bottom
