Regional CLA
The McKean County Rifle Club will be hosting it's Annual CLA Regional Shoot on July 3, 4 and 5. This will follow the National Hunters Pistol Championships, and just before Smallbore Sillhouette Nationals. Currently we have shooters signed up from out west who are staying over from Pistol Nationals. This is a great oppurtunity to shoot against some "real out of the region" shooters. Contact Rob Drummond, info is also listed at USA Shooting Sports. http://www.nrapublications.org/ssusa/im ... 806_CE.pdf

We are getting a nice turnout inspite of High gas prices. Over 40 shooters so far. The range is looking good. We corrected some issues, regarding targets and also improved target stands. Should be nothing but positves. We expect some record to fall next week. This past week saw a 39/40 SBCLA (number 40 stood defiant!!!) on our Wednesday night match. That same night a new national record long run on SB chix of 47. Today on our Monthly Sunday match, a 40/40 CLA. We've had a lot of 39/40's with the various guns, but this is the first perfect on our range with one of the cowboy guns. So if the weather cooperates hopefully we'll be good to go, and expect some scorching scores.
This match is going to be a 40/rounds in the morning and a 40/rounds afternoon, with all three guns. So lots of oppurtunities to count for 40/40 records and 80/80records. We have 8 bays of 5 for each animal, so we'll get you a spot on the line.
