Savage target action?
I was surfing the net and discovered that Savage is selling target actions. This is a bolt action single shot with Accutrigger set at 6 ounces. I found it interesting in that the actions are right handed, but they load and eject from the left side. One can buy these with different bolt faces depending on what caliber you will barrel. I think the price was a tad over $300. Has anyone played with one of these Savage target actions?

This says they are available as right bolt/right port or right bolt/left port:

Right bolt/left port is real popular with the bench rest and F-Class dudes.

Saw lots of right bolt/left port actions in benchrest when I was doing that, not that I could afford one of the Turbo custom jobs that shot like lasers. For a single-shot, I would rather have a left port for loading. I load my Contender silhlouette pistols with my left hand, too. Since I don't do benchrest anymore, I haven't seen any of the Savage actions used for that. I've seen a couple used for longer-range varmint guns and they work exceptionally well for that capacity. It's probably just mindset, but It's hard for me to imagine dropping $2000 plus for a full-on custom built around a Savage action instead of a trued Rem/Jewell setup.
