+1 for the reset targets. Our club bought a set 20+ years ago for IHMSA air pistol silo. Expensive to start, but paid for themselves in first year. We use them several times a year for IHMSA, and let the local 4H club use them as well. Only need 5 targets per rack, the shooter pulls the reset string. IHMSA handgun distances are 10-18 yards.
Guy in Minnesota has a design that includes deflector plate for front rail, and angled backstop that deflects pellets down and away.
Targets are easily removed or interchangeable. I made a set of targets the same size as a 10 meter rifle bull (the black part, so youth can have more fun with a biathlon style target). The varying widths allow the 4 frames to "nest" in a 2' x 4' space for storage or transportation.
