Animals Printed on Graph Paper?

Post by Jetmugg »

Anyone have a source of the 4 individual animal targets shown on a graph paper grid (like for spotting purposes)?

I know I've seen them in use at matches, but can't find a source for them.

Any help would be appreciated.

I vaguely remember a BPCR website selling nice spotting boards with a grid, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.

I have this PDF but it may not be what you're looking for... http://allencorneau.com/allen/SBSilhouette.pdf

Edit to add... Found this one stashed on my computer.

here it is both directions, same as the second one Allen uploaded, just as a PDF file.

I use it to make a dual sided magnetic spotting board/clip board

Fantastic replies, everyone!

Thank you so much.

I don't know that having these images will help me shoot any better, but at least it will help in knowing where to precisely locate the center of mass on each target.

I also have this PDF that I made up showing the main "hit zone" of each animal with their corresponding MOA measurements. It may help someone understand why Turkeys are so darned difficult to hit!

That is beautiful stuff! I really like the semi-abstract notion of shooting at the oval shapes shown in your PDF's.
