Thompson Center T/CR .22 rifle question
I am asking this for a friend of mine.
Does the Thompson Center new T/CR rifle with the Magnapul stock meet hunter rifle rules?
I told him that I don’t think it does but he asked me to post the question.
He has tried to become a member here but his application has never been processed.
I know that is another sore subject among some people.

Re: Thompson Center T/CR .22 rifle question
I took a quick look at some pictures and I don't see why it would not qualify. Assuming it meets weight, trigger, barrel taper, etc., it should be ok.
That low comb height will leave a lot to be desired though.

Re: Thompson Center T/CR .22 rifle question
Acorneau, I look at the rule book under the High Power Hunting Silhouette Rifle and it states a “Hunting Style Stock.” I realize that is very vague and I assume it is written intentionally that way. I guess the Magnapul stock doesn’t resemble a hunting style stock to my eyes.
I think the reason he is considering a semi-auto rifle is because he is a left handed shooter and semi-autos tend to be left handed friendly.
I hope that I am wrong and it qualifies for hunter class.
