type of steel for targets
We are going to have some Cowboy matches at Pe Ell. We had a few last year, was fun. Anyway what type of steel do you use for the Pistol Cartridge? From what I was reading for highpower you can soft set the rams? Is that what they do in Raton? Or do they just set them where ever they want. Any info will help. Steve W.

Re: type of steel for targets
Pistol Cartridge targets are usually A-36 HRS or AR400 and are always set "full footed".
Full Scale Rifle Rams are set "just forward of tipping point" per NRA rules.... The ones at NRAWC have a stop welded on the stand preventing them from being set any other way.
