Which one? Pachmayr or kick-ezz?

I put a Limbsaver on my 336. It does help with recoil, I guess, but I mostly put it on there to make the length of pull longer. I never think about recoil in matches, even with ram loads, so I guess it does its job very well. :)

Check out the leather covers on this web site http://www.gunstockcover.com. I have these on all my lever guns. What I like about them is they stop slippage, and you can add foam for recoil, or to add length. They also protect guns with metal butt plates. Check out the handsome devil on the home page also. Back to the gun stock covers. Jon Klein is the mans name, and he is a real craftsman with leather. Try one and you will end up buying more. Al

This butt pad was made by Garold Hayler from a rubber sandal. It's cheap, functional, and attractive, kind of like us.
