Dumb question about the Lever Action Nationals

Centerfires, rimfires, pistol cartridges and everything in between.

Dumb question about the Lever Action Nationals

Post by snaketail2 »

I suppose I should know this, but I should be taller/younger/richer too.

Is there a description for the course(s) of fire for the matches. I seem to recall one 40 or 60 round CLA match and two each Pistol Cartridge and Small Bore. Can anyone direct me to descriptions of the National Matches? Are they 40 or 60 round matches?

I don't go every year, and I'm well qualified to be a senior shooter - so a little help here please. No where on the Whittington web site is there a description of the matches (Is a dinner too....where is the info?).

I shot my first Hunter's Pistol Match in 1987 and a guy in my relay didn't bring enough ammo - I don't want to be "that guy."
