Looks good, but I've never seen one at a match.

If it shoots as good as it looks, it’ll be great.

Re: Chiappa 1892....
I bought one a number of years ago in .357. There were a number of problems with it. The extractor broke almost right away, so I made a new one. A while later, the ejector broke also and I had to fix that. In order to get it to feed, the factory enlarged the end of the chamber bottom which caused the cases to bulge in front of the head.
The worst thing is that I could never to get it to shoot as well as the other two .357 rifles I own. The other day someone who also has one and couldn't get his to shoot either, showed me a chamber cast revealing a longer than necessary freebore section ahead of the case. I'm assuming this is the problem.
I havent shot mine in a while, but plan to keep it around as a possible future gunsmithing project.
