Redfield 75

Post by ChuckD »

Guys,

Was in on an auction for one of these, and it got a bit crazy, so I let it go. I have no reason to doubt my Williams, but its aluminum and subject to wear, I guess. The old steel Redfield seems nice, but is it worth spending the money again?

Thanks for your experiences

The Redfield 75's are nice but are getting to ridiculous prices. I have both Redfields and Williams. The Williams fitted with thumb screws are easily adjustable, I just find it hard to keep count of the "clicks" on them. The 75's just seem to have a more positive feel to them.

There's no advantage to the Redfield. Although they are made very well and should last 2 lifetimes.
