No spotter needed
I love all people, but Jeanne is the only person I want spotting for me at a match. At the National scope match this year there was a gentleman that was a GREAT spotter and coach that helped me great deal, but at our monthly matches , Jeanne and I are usually too
I know we all have a story about some well meaning spotter that really got us off our game and that we'd have been better off just shooting so.........
busy keeping the match running to shoot and spot .I know we all have a story about some well meaning spotter that really got us off our game and that we'd have been better off just shooting so.........

What is the "national scope match" ?
Spotters, whoever they are, get far less credit than they deserve.

Re: No spotter needed
Yea, it happens. I was visiting Utah last summer and shot at a BPCR match as a guest, I was paired up with a new shooter, and spent most of my time coaching him on what to do. When it came time for me to shoot I found his spotting skills non-existent, in fact - he was calling shots completely opposite of where I knew the shot landed. Shot my worst score ever at that match and would have been better off just being left alone.
