synthetic stock Marlin Model 60?
Can a synthetic stock Marlin Model 60 be used in smallbore CLA? Legally? The rule, I think, says "the stock must be of original configuration ...." So a new gun with a synthetic stock would be okay, right?

Honestly, I don't know who you shoot with but if it isn't a custom stock with a huge roll over giving you 5 extra pounds up front, it is of no advantage and all club matches I shoot at would never get a second look unless you were consistently scoring 40's. If your 60 has a synthetic stock. Shoot it. ;)

If it's the factory stock, like the model 60SN, it's legal.OnaginOffagin wrote:Can a synthetic stock Marlin Model 60 be used in smallbore CLA? Legally? The rule, I think, says "the stock must be of original configuration ...." So a new gun with a synthetic stock would be okay, right?
