Barrel Lining
What's everyone's experience with relining a vintage pistol cartridge lever gun? Does yours shoot 2moa with peep sights at 100? Who's really good at it?
I'm thinking about it on an old takedown 25-20. I really like the barrel cleaning convenience of the takedown. Then I'll fit a shotgun style butt. I also like receiver sights but I draw the line at D&T the receiver

Re: Barrel Lining
I have had 2 PC rifles relined, accuracy wise they are as good as a shiny new barrel. Both jobs were done really well and I have had experts look at them and could not tell they were relined. But its now not original and I know that, that is the only downside I see to it, but it made 2 useless rifles into shootable rifles.

You might give Dan Zimmerman a shout at DZ Arms in Oklahoma City. I'll bet he can either do it or know who can. Da's work is the best.
