Which Sight?

Post by chuck d »

Putting together a CLA rifle. Have used Williams rear sights in the past, but wondering if there is any advantage to using a Marble/Tang sight? My eyes definitely respond better to longer sight radius. Di any tang sights have any adjustment to the aperture?

thanks

I'll post a link to the Lee Shaver site. There are adjustable eye cups there - I know they fit his Tang sights, but not sure about others. The Hadley cup is an adjustable aperture that fits Williams sights, but I found these hard to come by.

Here is the link to Shaver http://stores.leeshavergunsmithing.com
You can also check...I think its Buffalo Arms.

Perhaps someone an offer more suppliers.

I mis-spoke in my earlier post - I meant to say Merrit, not Hadley. Glad to see Midway has some in stock (from past experience - they don't seem to last long).
