New 25-20 brass

Any one interested in new 32-20 starline brass, sized to 25-20?
I think I perfected the process, just wondering if there is a market need.
I'm thinking around 50-60 cents each plus shipping.
Just sending out feelers, or trying to help out anyone in a major hurt for the stuff.

So lets see I can buy the brass for $193 per 1000 that is about 20 cents. You want 30 cents to resize?

Yes, it is a multi step process for me. You can't just resize the case using 25-20 dies.
Can you buy any 25-20 brass? I saw a listing on an auction site for $60 for 42 cases.
So, yes my time is worth it.
I'm just trying to see if I can help anyone out.
I'm guessing that you don't know me.

Dennis, I am not sure what process you but I do it in a single step with very few lost cases.

I tried and tried, using regular dies always wrinkles.
It did not work for me. I had to modify another die to make an intermediate step.

The other folks that I know, who have tried, must also be using the wrong dies.
Well, I guess if anyone else needs a small batch of reformed 25-20 brass, to get them through the dry spell, let me know if I can help.

Glen, I didn't see your post when I posted my last one.

GregG says he just uses the Redding reloading dies.
So you might try that route. Maybe just order the neck die, cheaper.

For me, I found that the reloading dies for 25-20 use a radius in the neck/shoulder, I think that is what causes the wrinkles.
Even with the gentle shoulder angle.

Lucky for me, I also previously loaded for a 256 Win Mag. (357mag. necked to 25 cal)
So I had a friend cut .140 inches off the bottom of my neck die.

Using imperial wax, I use this die to size the neck and base shoulder.
Then I go back with a 25-20 neck die to set the final shoulder and radius.

Not hard, but a little time consuming on a single stage press.

Glen, if you would like, I can send you my short die for you to borrow, if you have the brass.
Or for a discounted price, I can supply some cases, half way sized and you can finish it with your dies.
I only have 500 32-20 cases now, since this does not look like a big seller.

I started with the Lee Dies they say they will resize 32-20 to 25-20. They do not. They maybe good dies for resizing 25-20 only but for the conversion I lost 100% of the cases. The redding dies were almost 100.

Glen, the redding dies are special order from midway.
When I get a chance, let me try a rcbs necksizer die and see if it will size the cases in one step.
I just got one in from sinclair for about $30, I'll let you know, it might be a cheaper alternative.

Glen, I tried the RCBS neck die, not so good. Little better than Lee, but I only got 1 out of 6, that I tired.
I had to size it part way, turn, repeat, for a total of 3 passes.
Maybe you will have better luck with the Redding Dies.
