Marlin 39A scope base

Centerfires, rimfires, pistol cartridges and everything in between.

Marlin 39A scope base

Post by MOTO VITA »

Does anyone know of a big, sturdy, scope base, that I can use on my drilled and tapped 39A, to attach a target scope for ammo comparison? The small Marlin base doesn't quite cut it.

Do you have the Weaver #90. How much more strength do you think you need. It's a 22. Not being smart a.. but what are you looking to do. I've used the #90 with the 2 mounting holes with no problems.

I'll try to check it out, thanks. If you have a photo that'd be great.
Do you know if it's larger than the one that was available through Marlin?
I don't think I need more strength, just a longer mounting rail for a large scope.
