Great pictures! Thanks again, Michael.
I don't remember my mother being there handing out trophies, but she's in every picture.

Re: SOONER CLASSIC RESULTS
A big "thank you" to the OK City Gun Club, the Rings, and their crew for a fine Regional tournament. A special thank you is due to the target setters for schlepping thru the mud and enduring the cold rain to quickly set the targets and keep us on schedule
If you've never shot at OKC, do it! Neat range with pneumatic reset targets and first rate facilities.
I've shot in some nasty weather, including light snow and a tornado warning. But we had 2 full days of very low light, rain, and a few wind gusts. Luckily the wind wasn't a big factor. In fact on CLA match there was only a 2 mph wind so I set my windage and marked it.
The most difficult challenge was the low light level. My sight picture was a blur of grays. Very tough to see!

Re: SOONER CLASSIC RESULTS
Payback to/for the shooter was about 90% if my math is correct. We want to put on a regional again next year and can't without the Silhouette director ( Jim Fields ) and board's approval. If you liked the match Contact those folks at the Oklahoma City Gun Club and if we get enough positive feed back they should let us do a regional match next year.
IF the director gives us the thumbs up for next year please let us know a date you shooters would like. We're thinking maybe in the fall. Please let us know.
We had drizzle and low light but , miraculously, the bad storms predicted went around us both days. I think it was due to the guy that shot Pistol Cartridge Turkeys on my relay...after every shot he fired at a turkey he would say " Jesus Christ' so I guess he was praying.
Jeanne told me if I'd quit BSing and cutting up so much I could shoot better , but I like you guys/gals and I hope to see you all in Raton. xoxoxoxoxox
