What is your opinion of my avatar?

I have been told I resemble old Elmer Fudd when I am at a silhouette match.
Not bad, but I pictured something more like this:

I buy all my guns from t-rex. He's a small arms dealer.

I think most shooters using variable scopes, select a power and stick with it. Maybe on some super windy day a lower power might be useful.

Thank you everyone for your replies.

I contacted Pete about a new scope for my little 1712. He was heading out of town for a few days so I have some time to decide between a couple of models from Leupold.

LOL!

I guess with Waverly going to 3P you need to spend a lot of money rifles and equipment.

I took a look at the Leupold website and the new VX-3i will probably put me over the weight limit.
How is Erin's new rifle turning out?

With Waverly going to 3P, I will not be buying more equipment for myself... hence why you should be the equipment so I can live vicariously through your purchases. :D

I am not the one with 3-4 Anschutz rifles like you! You buy Anschutz rifles like some women buy shoes.

you're just jealous because I have the feet to fill those shoes... and the women in my life use those rifles well. Nothing but the best for them.

At least give your wife the CZ to shoot, what is she shooting...?

You are right Mark, I am jealous because you do west some flashy shoes.

Karin REALLY LIKES her Ruger 10/22. I have a trigger in there that pulls less than 2 lbs and the stock has been cut down to fit her.
She can"t be bothered with having to operate a bolt after every shot. She likes the whole pull the trigger until it is empty thing.

Have you picked out a 3 position rifle for Waverly yet?

Out of curiosity what power magnification does Waverly shoot with.

well... at least I don't trip over my own feet... =))

so Waverly has really good eyes still. She is using one of the 3 VX2 6-18 set between 12-18. She changes the magnification depending on weather and her hold for that day. That is what she does anyway, today.
