Thank You PeteG. If you are interested in any of these rifles I will give the pix thing a try on my own and send them to your email. Another thing the Marlin 30-30 CB has a pistol grip stock. I would think I still have the original straight grip stock but not 100% sure.

When it comes to high end items and pictures I have come to learn just because someone posts pictures of an item still doesn't mean they aren't trying to scam you. At least you can try and do a google photo match to see if the images were lifted from another website or ad listing the gun for sale. I've seen several people ripped off because they believed the pictures were from the seller. So, in the end it truly is up to trust and hopefully some others backing you as a good person to deal with etc. Pictures will increase the rate at which something sells though so there is that if you want to move it faster.

As always buyer beware and due your diligence.

Anytime I'm buying a wood stock gun I want a picture, the Cooper sounds interesting but who would ever buy one sight unseen when there's such a huge variation in the stocks?

The point was I can show you any picture I want. That doesn't mean I have the gun just because I produced a picture of a gun for you to see. I guess I've just seen so many scams I'm saying be cautious pic or no pic.

It has nothing to do with fraud. He has been vouched for and one can perform their due diligence.

The point is pictures inspire interest. Just like a car on the front row of a lot. Most folks won't bother without pictures, or bother to request pictures.

What is the saying, a picture is worth a thousand words?

The Anschutz 1712 Featherweight and Leupold EFR has been sold along with the 357 Cowboy. The other rifles are still available.

hunter718, I'm interested in this one.

1981 Marlin 39A 22LR with Lyman all steel target sights with Jones and merit apertures. This era had a heavier barrel than pre-1980 models. Exc, cond. $1000

does this model have the crossbolt safety?

Thanks, Dennis Ostler
