I purchased it as a barreled action from Mike Massey at Firearms Unlimited and had Neal Ward bed it in one of his supper strong and super light synthetic stocks, he said it was the first and last Krico he bedded so there are no others like this out there. I had the barrel threaded to take the Walther extension I got from Neil Stepp at ISS and had a local shooter make the weights. It will make weight with all three installed but for the last 8 years I shot it I only used 1 weight. The scope has the premier large silhouette dot and is power bumped; I've always shot it set at 16 which is about 30 power.

The stock has NRA national championship certification stickers from '95, '96, '97, '98, '99, 2000, '01, '02, '03, '04 and '05 and the scope has stickers from the Conard Cup 2000 and 2001, and many Southern Nationals. This repeater replaced my single shot Walther KKMS in 1995. I last shot it in the final Southern Nationals in 2012. From 2006 until 2012 I shot it once a year at the Southern Nationals.

I've stopped shooting SB Rifle Silhouette and need to pass this on to someone else to use. It shoots Great!

I think you ought to keep it and shoot it on second Saturdays!

Hey Joe
I'm keeping my Anschutz 1712 FWT, so I will have something to shoot if I want to.

I'm not sure what the current pull is but its in the ounces. It's a two stage match trigger that is adjustable in pull weight, position of the trigger forward and back as well as angle of twist.

That's a killer rifle and the trigger is amazing. Glad to hear you're keeping the 1712.
