More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Yeah but where are the good bullets? I see no 6.5mm (.264) or 7mm (.284) listed.

Just what is this world coming too?

I think for their first forage into the ballistic tip match bullets they are going with the two most popular calibers. If they proof out then we'll see the 7mm, 6.5mm and 6mm to follow.

Wonder if the ballistic coefficient will be significantly higher than regular matchkings, I doubt it. I don't see any real advantage in putting a ballistic tip on target bullets that are not normally fed through the magazine.

Kevin, i can't look right now but Sierra lists the new BC and it is higher. Whether it is "significant" or not only you can decide.

I guess in silhouette significant to me would be having to not put in more than a couple of clicks windage as compared to the standard matckings. At CRC you could easily have a minute of left wind in for instance, would the new bullet allow you to have only one half a minute so if you accidently shot during a lull the target might still fall. The numbers cited are for reference only.

windage corrections depend upon the wind and bullet time to target. You would not see any difference in windage correction unless the BT version has better aerodynamics than the match king with the same muzzle velocity.

Jask, they do have a better listed BC than the standard Matchkings. Therefore windage corrections would be less. How much less is the question. We'll have to wait and see.
