More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Chargemaster

Post by Jerry G »

I passed along the speed up info for the Chargmaster to another shooter. He went from 28 seconds to 10 seconds to throw a 42 grane charge.

Nice, that's about where I am at. 10 to 14 seconds.

So Bonner called me a while back and asked me "Trent, what's better than a Chargemaster?" I couldn't come up with an answer and in typical Bonner fashion he says "TWO Chargemasters!" That joker has his own ammo plant going on in his basement. Haha.

Probably got one from McAlice as he is an old fashion manual and single stage press kind of guy =)) The more fondling of those 7-08's the better he said. :ymdevil:

Yes adjusting the speeds made for much faster loads. Now I would also recommend the little brass insert trick that smooths out the trickle even more. A McDonalds straw works but the brass is a better solution.

Snake I got one of these for mine instead of trying to find the correct size brass tubing and it helps.

See and article here on a trick for the RCBS Chargemaster… http://www.targetshooter.co.uk/?p=1063
