6.5x47 lapua bullets
I got a question for all you 6.5x47 lapua shooters. I just picked one up Rem 700, what do you all think about the lapua 144gr. fmj that they sell good or bad for the rams. The sierra 142gr. matchking are out of stock. Thanks for the input.

The 144 Lapua has always been a good bullet for rams. Some people question their accuracy but I think its plenty accurate for silhouette shooting and hits the rams with authority. Just my opinion based in many years of experience using them. My friend Agustin Sanchez also used them at nationals with success.

Dan if you're looking for a ram bullet I'd point you to the 139gr scenar.
For what it's worth. I've been using them for 6 months and am very pleased with them. Granted as Jason will surely point out I use the frugal mans case (250 savage necked up to 6.5mm) but this has less than a gr case capacity difference than the 6.5x47 and I've found loading data to work almost interchangeably.
34gr of n150 put em out there at just over 2600 fps and boy do they group.
