I've been using MoS2 (moly) for a great many years and I've always been looking for better stuff to use. I've done some research on WS2 (Tungsten Sulfide) and it appears to be more stable at higher temperatures than moly and slightly less hygroscopic (water absorbent). As far as lubricity goes, the data I've read lists it only slightly higher than that of moly. I tried obtaining some samples but was unsuccessful, since distributors would only supply samples to large scale users. It is also quite a bit more expensive than moly, so I decided to stick with what works for me, at least at present.
