What 6mm/243 bullets are you using on Rams?

More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Velocity is 2650fps with 115's and 2750fps with 95's from my 6x47 Remington. I've heard that the 115's are made by sierra for David Tubb, regardless they're amazing in the wind but don't always topple the ram targets.
I just re-read your post. Thanks for making it.

The Sierra 107's are great. The only 'problem' I have had with them is that I over corrected for wind and missed some Turkeys on the upwind side. If I had shot with no correction I would have hit them.

I am surprised that you would lose Pigs with any bullet let alone a 95gr bullet. Especially since you are not pushing them fast at all. I run the 107s at 2,850 in a 6BR. You should be able to get 3,200 to 3,300 with a 95gr bullet in a 6X47.

I loaded down the DTAC 115s to 2,700. 29.2gr VV N150, CCI 450 primers in a Lapua 6BR case. I may slow them down a little more.

It's a 6x47 Remington not the Lapua, has half the case capacity and is based on the 222mag case slightly longer than a 223. 2750 fps is about max for a 95 grain bullet.
AAA Shooter politically incorrect and loving it
