What model rem 700 was I looking at

Found a rem700 at local gun shop. Has a synthetic stock with the grey inserts on pistol grip and fore end. Action is blued As is barrel.has 26 inch fluted barrel with recessed target crown. Also bolt is jeweled.cannot find any thing that matches this.everything on gun appears original .

Sounds like a 700 Varmint SF (stainless fluted) but with a blued barrel. Are you sure it was blued and not some finish on the stainless barrel?

Forgot to mention it is a 300 win mag.looks to be some sort of bluing will check further tonight.thanks

l heard back from Remington they say it's just a 700 bdl with a synthetic xcr stock. No mention of flutted barrel? thanks
