• Weight of Rem 700 SA

Anyone know the weight of a Rem 700 SA with magazine and follower, sans trigger?

Hi Troy...I have a stainless Rem. 700 short action here to be made into a custom HP Std. rifle. It weighs 29.44 ounces. This is for the receiver, bolt assembly , ADL magazine box , spring , & follower.

No trigger or recoil lug.

I was looking into the Kodiak as the platform for a silhouette action and trying to compare various weights.

I just built a new rifle on an ADL action. The action with bolt and trigger weighed 29.6 oz. No magazine follower or lug
