Match Dates: October 3 & 4, 2015 – 60 Shot Match

Location: HOTSA Gun Club - Coolidge, Texas

Open to: All current NRA members, and TSRA members. This is a TSRA sanctioned State Championship and you must be a member in good standing to compete in this match. You will be required to either show a current membership card or purchase a membership in order to compete. Memberships will be available at the match. There is a $5 fee for out of state competitors (non TSRA members).

Entries: Advanced entry and payment is accepted. Entry is limited to 48 shooters. Make checks payable to

Entry Fees: Standard Rifle match: $ 55.00 for Adults & $ 25.00 for Juniors
Hunter Rifle match: $ 50.00 for Adults & $ 25.00 for Juniors
$ 10.00 of entry fee is split between TSRA and NRA for sanctioning fees. NRA Classification books required.
NRA Score Books may be purchased at the match.
Entry Schedule: Entries will be accepted until 30 minutes before first relay on (Sat.) October 3rd. Squads: Squads will be done by entry forms to the best of our ability.
Rules: Current NRA Silhouette rules and classification apply.
ALL RIFLES MUST BE CERTIFIED.
Matches: 60 Shots for each match (15) shots at each distance. (As per NRA rules of fire)
Long Runs: All long run attempts are fired at the end of the daily match. Long run counts start from the number one animal. Attempts at the end of the match will have a sight-in and warmup.
All ties for top (3) places in each class will be decided by shoot-offs. Practice will be from 12 PM till dark on Friday, October 2nd. Matches: Standard Rifle will begin 9AM, October 3, 2015.
Hunter Rifle will begin 9AM, October 4, 2015.

General Information:
Lunch (sandwiches and fixings) and water will be provided on Saturday and Sunday for competitors. Only shooters and spotters will be allowed on shooting line at ALL times.
Please make sure your bolts are open and muzzles are up when taking rifles on and off the shooting line.
Target setters will be there for Saturday and Sunday matches.

Camping: Space is available but NO electricity or water is available.

Directions: From Mexia, take Hwy 171 towards Coolidge. Turn Right on FM 27. Go 1.2 miles and take a Left on CR 218. Go 3.3 miles. You will come to a RED AND BLUE metal gate on Right hand side. Gate is a double gate. This is the location.

Does it matter what my real name is? Perhaps I don't want to blast my real name out on a forum? Isn't that why we have handles in the first place? It's not important who I am,If you are interested in the match contact Jack Garret or David Wester. Posting match information and getting the word out is what's important, growing silhouette is what's important. Shouldn't really matter who's who....look forward to meeting and shooting with you.
