More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Norma Brass… Old vs. New

Post by Emietenkorte » Fri May 29, 2015 10:48 pm

I recently picked up around 300 virgin Norma cases that I will be making into .260 bobcat rounds for HP silhouette. These cases are from the 1970's-1980's. Does anyone know if they would be much different than Norma cases of more recent manufacture? Should I have any problem mixing these in with recently manufactured Norma brass? Any help would be very much appreciated!

I am sure the old brass is just fine......I am using some from the mid 70s.... see the 5 page post on brass. Check out towards the end where Colorado Bob did some tests on mixed brass.
