It is important that your brain see as close to the same thing as possible every time you shoot - from the size of the target to the speed of your movement to the size of your dot. The dot s...

Re: 2019 TSRA High Power Results

Thanks to Jack, Mark, Brandon, Liz, and all the target setters for another great TX Highpower state match. It was lots of fun as usual. Thanks also to the sponsors that donate great prizes to this and other matches. Lapua, Berger, Vihta Vouri and Sierra are by far the biggest industry supporters of ...

Re: St Louis HP Regional Results?

The schedule this year really messed us up. I hate to miss this match!! Our crew will be there next year.

Our prayers are with Kirk. Was he alone??

(It only comes to mind because I'm pretty sure I'm all done with big matches for the year, so the Coop Shoot will be the next one on the list.)

You need to start shooting highpower ASAP! The fall is highpower silhouette season in the south.

Re: Delusional in Mississippi

Wow, that place is nice!!! You need to buy it, Bobby, and expand that rifle range another 150m for a HP silhouette range. We will visit to shoot!! Mississippi needs a state championship!!!

Re: Wanted Single Shot Smallbore Anschutz

That 1807 for sale is actually one of the "magical" 1600X series rifles. The transitional rifle that lead into the modern 1800 series. I think it would be hard to source parts for that rifle if I ever had to. Also it might be sacrilege to turn what many think is a rare classic into a common silhoue...

Dustin,

Even I say it was just too soon for this type of harassment
HA! Too soon or not it's coming! If I end up in a straight jacket in a mattress-lined room everyone will know why 😂😂😂

Thin Big-Bore Rams

Looking for info from anyone that has experience or insight into steel thickness and target damage: Full-scale ram targets are 3/8-inch thick. If a free-standing ram was made out of hard steel like AR500 or T1 but was only 1/4" thick, could it withstand being hit by lever action ram loads at 200m wi...

Re: Rules re Target Air Rifle

In practice, "unaltered" refers only to the power plant - can't shoot a 10m rifle that has been boosted to shoot the pellets harder. As far as updating components, adjusting the trigger, making the rifle fit, or adding/subtracting weight, do whatever you want with it. Don't worry about that barrel w...
