Re: help with CG trigger

It took quite a while (approx 3 hours) to adjust mine to where I liked it. Lots of fiddling, testing and naughty words! I'm switching everything over to Bix n' Andy with my new builds though... Maybe that's the solution?

Re: Annual Silhouette Classification FEE

Just paid my fee using the NRA competitor portal. Online credit card payment, good until Dec. 31, 2020. Super easy to do! Yup, I did as well. I needed to, seeing as I got 10 in a row Rams at today's air rifle match and that was the last animal I needed to complete my first Grand Slam! :ymparty: I h...

Re: Bad News

Have rifle will travel.... Looking forward to shooting at Ridgway. Never been out there before but I just love to shoot, no matter where it is. That's why I started in this game, love to shoot, love the people who shoot it. I hope to see all of you out there, hopefully for the same reasons! #pewpew ...

Re: Lapua Test Center video...

I was just there yesterday! Top notch process and Daniel is a stellar guy! I highly recommend! I see a ductless minisplit in the background. That does not provide fresh air. I wonder if they have additional ventilation near the tunnel bench area. The fantastic thing about working for Lapua is they w...

I thought that was a personal information gathering scam until I saw the name and address of the company sponsoring the survey.

Re: Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x

That's the scope I started with. It worked great! Very repeatable and held zero, definitely a littler heavier than the FX-3 but did the job! Shot a lot of matches with it, never had a problem!

Re: FX3 scopes?

I posted this in response to his question on Facebook, however, I thought I would post it here for everyone. These pictures were taken through Leupold FX-3 25x scopes. Chicken is at 40 meters. Hope this helps! Erich 3/8 min dot https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1843/42621906280_07be087fb8_b.jpg https:/...

Re: Silhouette with a Fortner

That makes sense regarding your hold. I used to shoot that way too (closed fist not on magazine). Regarding lock times there is a thread on RFC. http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=596775 On the Anschutz website it states their Fortner action has a 4m/s lock time. Can't find the 17...

Re: Silhouette with a Fortner

There are a few shooters out there that use them, they are definitely fun to shoot. A few things to consider from your post... "I also like how the Anschutz magazines rest on my hand" I'm not sure if this is implying that you are using the magazine as support, if it is, you might want to be aware of...
