Re: Retiring from silhouette-FS in Pa.

The point was I can show you any picture I want. That doesn't mean I have the gun just because I produced a picture of a gun for you to see. I guess I've just seen so many scams I'm saying be cautious pic or no pic.

Re: short

I think that cinder block looks to be 1/2" over NRA regulations for height. Did anyone put it in the jig?

Re: Retiring from silhouette-FS in Pa.

When it comes to high end items and pictures I have come to learn just because someone posts pictures of an item still doesn't mean they aren't trying to scam you. At least you can try and do a google photo match to see if the images were lifted from another website or ad listing the gun for sale. I...

Re: Are Remington products as crappy as I have read?

I had Evelio build a custom rifle from a cheap .243 short action off a 700. Put it in a Pharr stock and Kreiger barrel chambered for 6.5x47L and it shoots lights out under 1 MOA and way better than I need for offhand =)) I stuck with the stock trigger because it honestly is pretty damn nice and brea...

Re: Experimenting with a Yong Heng 4500 PSI compressor.

Okay, after much delay in shipping of fill adapters and foster connections I have finally been able to use this compressor! So far I must say I am impressed with the little pump. I have filled my 4500 PSI Walther Hunter cylinder but only pushed it to around 4000 PSI so far as I want to slowly work m...

Re: First Air Rifle Silhouette Match at ARPC

All those are good options. Just be careful of scammer listings on the used sites and forums. If they won't call you to talk and have some sort of history be very wary. The way I have always pitched the expense of a nice 10 meter rifle to shooters is in the cost and convenience to shoot. Nothing is ...

Re: First Air Rifle Silhouette Match at ARPC

Congrats on your 1st match! We had the same thing at the tart of our air rifle matches just 3-4 then a few more and I think we got up to 3 relays or more with 2 sets of resets used on good days. I hope to get an air rifle match going here sometime in the future if I can find interest when I hit the ...

Experimenting with a Yong Heng 4500 PSI compressor.

I just got a one of those Yong Heng HPA 4500 PSI mini compressors. I only intend to use it for fill the rifle air tubes themselves so the run time will be just a minute or two each time to top off the cylinders. I see guys using them to top off full sized portable tanks as well but the run times to ...

Ah I had no idea there were issues with getting new members able to register here. Is Mike still webmaster of the site? I filled out the other survey.

I refuse to use FB for any reason.
Ditto here. Leupold should post the question on forums directly like this one and others to get input. I mean where better to go a survey done about silhouette shooting preferences than oh I don't know a forum devoted to only Silhouette? Genius!

Re: Long time, no post or shoot for that matter.

I've done the match run/support thing for years it's an unsung job to be sure but I love to shoot even if it's just a few having fun! My highest score ever 38/40 was with just Dustin and a few others there. I'll see what the future holds, might be a good 4H type kids program in the mountains here. Dee

Re: Where is the justice?

Seen that happen many times. What gets me is the time I hit a HP Pig and his ass rotated 90 degrees while still standing on the rail on his one front leg! Then there is the SB turkey hits that somehow can spin the bird a complete 360 on one leg and still be staring back at ya! I once saw Dustin ring...

Re: Long time, no post or shoot for that matter.

Hi guys. Yeah I am getting the itch to shoot again. Probably won't make many LA matches these days but ya never know. For now just trying to reassemble my shooting supplies and all my rifles where I am living now to see what I need. See where things go from there. I can't wait to see how terrible my...

Long time, no post or shoot for that matter.

Just figured out my login again for the forum. Been several years since I shot but looking to get back into it again in some capacity. Not exactly coming into ideal shooting weather here in Colorado but I'll be getting the rest of my rifles in the next few weeks and plan to hit the airguns hard over...
